The Ohio Center for Advocacy, Training and Support (O.C.A.T.S.)

437831057eahahe_fsO.C.A.T.S. was formed by a group of dedicated consumers and former recipients of mental health services in Ohio. With the help of other interested groups, associations and enthusiastic individuals, we have been able to create a statewide self-help advocacy organization.

We are eager to move the reality of recovery and wellness throughout the state, reaching the diverse and knowledgeable population of people whose lives have been impacted by mental illness and the treatment and lack of support networks available to provide recovery and wellness concepts and practices.

O.C.A.T.S. invites anyone who is a recipient or former recipient of mental health services to join us in reaching out to the greater community. Showing real life examples of people in recovery, working, living, and participating to make Ohio a better place, will reduce stigma and enhance inclusion and acceptance in society. Join us today!
